new Collaboration: Interactive overview over APA2024 license awards and work obligations with glex
This year we are once again planning to make information about the new exploration licenses awarded by the Minister of Energy on the afternoon of Tuesday the 14th of January 2025 available, but this year we will do it together with our friends at Glex!
Below you can find a version if the interactive map by Glex optimised for your web browser, convenient for you if you are sitting by your computer.
If you are not at your desk, we recommend you use the Glex Pocket app if you want to follow the results on your mobile phone. Pocket is Glex's free mobile app which shows always-updated NCS data such as licenses, fields and discoveries and allows you to easily filter on company portfolios. You can download the app via the button below the interactive map. Note that it requires your login details enabling the Glex team to get to know the people who use their app.
The layer with the newly offered licenses will be toggled on by default and will be published as soon as possible after the announcement. Work programme obligations will be visible in an info panel by clicking on an offered licence.
You can control the data on the map by using the four buttons on the left (PC) or bottom (mobile) menu bar -
Company filter: Highlight or show only assets by company/companies
Inspector: Searchable overview of viewed data
Layers: Toggle what data to view
Statistics: Overview of the new APA2024 licences awarded
We recommend that you toggle off all layers and start exploring: search for companies, analyse the statistics and check out the license obligations by clicking on the specific license.
On behalf of the ExploCrowd and Glex teams: Enjoy!
If all of the above didn’t work for you, we have you covered
Here you find a browser version of the interactive map by Glex optimised for your phone. Now go explore.
