The comprehensive Eastern Finnmark Platform study was mainly initiated to model Paleozoic source rock to understand the remaining potential in the region and get full control on the Timanide and Caledonide structural orientations.

It includes an updated stratigraphy for the Eastern Finnmark Platform, based on the biostratigraphic re-evaluation of the Guovca and Ørnen wells.
