Our collaboration partner Estimages have regional velocity models ready and available for all areas of the Norwegian Continental Shelf. All models include the lastest released data from the Diskos database (PSTM/PSDM velocities and checkshots) and benefit from ExploCrowd’s work through the use of their time and well interpretations.

BARENTS SEA RVM

The area is thought to hold more than half of the undiscovered resources. A lot can be done there. The model is calibrated with ExploCrowd Horizons and Well Interpretations. The latest multi-client version was released in 2018 (v4).

NORWEGIAN SEA RVM

The largest discoveries in 2020 were made in the Norwegian Sea basin and there is still room to explore. The latest multi-client version was released in 2020 (v6).

NORTH SEA RVM

Estimages’ best-seller, proving that the North Sea is still a very attractive area in spite of being the oldest exploration area of the NCS. The model is calibrated with ExploCrowd Horizons and Well Interpretations. The latest multi-client version was released in 2020 (v6).
